The AnoMed project held its annual consortium meeting at the AI Med Connect Congress. The event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, research results and latest developments in the field of medical AI.
AnoMed presented its full range with 18 teaser talks and posters. The consortium not only presented its own projects, but also provided insights into the research projects of its cluster partners, including Privacy Umbrella and EAsyAnon. These closely networked projects illustrate the broad range of AnoMed and its efforts to develop groundbreaking solutions in the field of anonymization research.
Particularly pleasing were the high-caliber speakers who captivated the audience with their presentations. Gilles Barthe presented his findings on "Formal Methods & Privacy Proofs". An in-depth look at formal methods and privacy proofs, which underlined the importance of accurate and reliable methods in AI research.
Carmela Troncoso set further accents with her talk on “Challenges in Privacy-Enhancing Technologies”. In an informative presentation, she highlighted the challenges facing data protection technologies and stimulated further discussions.
